Dr. Cindy McCauley is the current practice owner and medical director of the Animal Emergency Center of West Houston. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 1995 and her undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science in 1991. She has 11 years of experience in Animal Emergency Medicine, and is going strong. Her compassion and drive show in her work as we move forward into the future.

Her special interest include exotic (birds,reptiles,pocket pets) species. She enjoys scuba diving, dancing and traveling. Her family includes 4 adorable fuzzy creatures, 1 cat (Milo), 1 precious bulldog (Otis) and 1 vanilla chinchilla. 

She is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, AVMA, AAHA, and TVMA.
